Dakota REIT would like to announce the acquisition of the Appareo Systems campus located in the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Research Park in Fargo, ND. Recently acquired by AGCO, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural machinery and precision ag technology, Appareo is a product development and technology company. The campus consists of 2 industrial flex buildings totaling 88,239 SF. The NDSU Research Park provides incubator space for research and development startups that benefit from the symbiotic relationship with NDSU. The Park has quick access to Interstate 29 and Hector International Airport.
The Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area is a stable, growing market with a population of approximately 260,000. The FM Area has a strong agricultural base supporting ag production and manufacturing. There are three – 4 year colleges with over 20,000 undergraduates along with Technical and Business Colleges in the MSA.
