Below are answers to some of our frequently asked questions. If you do not find the help you need below, please feel free to contact us for additional assistance.

When do distributions occur?

Dakota REIT will be paying Distributions on the 5th business day of the new quarter.

Distribution dates for 2024 will be 1/5/24, 4/5/24, 7/5/24 and 10/7/24.

Requested changes to Dakota REIT accounts and purchases received in the last 8 days of the quarter will be processed in the following quarter.

Can I get my cash distribution deposited directly in my bank account?

Yes, complete a Direct Deposit form and return it to our office with a voided check.  You do need to complete a separate form for each account.

Who can reinvest their distribution?

Dakota REIT's Distribution Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) allows for the reinvestment of distributions for additional shares at a price equal to 95% of the current asking price. A shareholder may elect to participate at any time. To request a change please complete of the Shareholder Change form.

The DRIP/DIP is offered to residents in the states Dakota REIT has registered with the SEC. Find your state.

How can I update my address?

Please complete the Shareholder Change form to change your permanent address.  A W-9 Form and a copy of your new photo ID showing your new address are also required.

Only gone for a while?  Complete the Shareholder Change form to make a temporary address change.

How do I add beneficiaries on my account?

You can add beneficiaries to your account by completing the Transfer on Death form.

How can I liquidate my shares?
