We're thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, Peter Tanis, who has joined us as the Chief Investment Officer in January 2024! He has over two decades of real estate expertise, Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Dakota REIT.
Previously serving as the Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets and Investment Sales at NEWMARK, INC., Peter successfully oversaw transactions exceeding $1B in consideration. His impressive track record includes handling transactions for renowned clients such as Seagate, Ecolab, Morgan Stanley and The Minnesota Vikings. Having navigated market challenges and played pivotal roles at JLL and The C. Chase Company, Peter's strategic insights and commitment to growing businesses make him a valuable asset to our team.
Peter Tanis earned his Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Studies and Finance from The University of St. Thomas (2002-2006) and achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2019.
