Guest speaker and attorney at the Fredrikson & Byron law firm, John Williams will present “Wealth Transfer Strategies in Common Real Estate Transactions”. The session will cover three wealth transfer strategies real estate owners can use with transactions they encounter on a regular basis. Registration is required to attend. The deadline to register is June 8th, 2022, and space is limited.

About the Speaker: John grew up on a family farm in Arthur, ND. He graduated from Dakota High school and then moved on to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas he worked for the tax department of Deloitte & Touche in Minneapolis where he received his designation as a certified public accountant. He then attended law school at William Mitchell College of Law. After graduation, he went to work for the Vogel Law Firm. In March of 2012 he transferred his practice from the Vogel Law Firm to Fredrikson & Byron, where he continues to focus his practice on estate planning, business succession and probate. In addition to being licensed to practice law in both Minnesota and North Dakota, he is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). John regularly speaks at seminars to other attorneys, CPAs, business professionals, and for civic organizations in the areas of estate planning and business succession.
